Carol H. Langsdon, RNP, BSN

Carol obtained her nursing degree and certification as a nurse practitioner in 1981 from the University of Arkansas College of Nursing; a pioneer program in nurse practitioner training and one of the first programs in the nation. She was inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau, a national honor society for nurses.

Carol worked as a primary care nurse at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Hospital in Little Rock. Subsequently, she worked in a pilot program as a nurse practitioner treating teenage pregnancy and obstetric patients for the Marion County Health Dept. in Indianapolis IN. She has worked in the Langsdon Clinic since its inception in 1986 in many positions; from surgical, preoperative preparation, postoperative care, and aesthetic treatments.

Carol provides administrative oversight for Germantown Ambulatory Surgical Center and has consulted and advised other surgery center programs throughout the state.

She is responsible for nursing aesthetics in the Langsdon Clinic; including Botox®, facial fillers, skin treatment, peels and other non-surgical treatments. She designed and oversees a custom TCA skin peeling program that rivals most laser and light-based skin improvement tools. She participated in the early clinical trials for an injectable facial filler. She offers years of experience in facial plastics and has spoken nationally on the topics concerning medical spas and nonsurgical facial aesthetic treatments.

Carol is the mother of four children. She is a member of Germantown Presbyterian Church, a past board member of Germantown Arts Alliance and foster care advisory board for Shelby County.


Vicki Tickle – Patient Care Coordinator

Vicki has been involved in the field of Plastic Surgery since 1989. She joined The Langsdon Clinic in 2003 and contributes to the practice in many areas. Vicki oversees patient care, beginning with the initial consultation with Dr. Langsdon and continuing through postoperative recovery. Her goal is to educate every patient regarding their procedure, give peace of mind and make the treatment process a pleasant one. Vicki is very compassionate and makes every person’s visit to the clinic a pleasant and welcome experience.

Beverly McVay – Scrub Technician

Ms. McVay brings four decades of experience as a surgical technician to The Langsdon Clinic. Part of her career was spent at Baptist hospital and the other at Regional One. She is very active in her church where she does Missionary work, stewardess and is a member of the praise dance team. Ms. McVay is very dedicated to her field and is an asset to our clinic.

Beth Temple – Administrative Assistant

Beth has been with The Langsdon Clinic since 2003. She assists in many facets of the practice including business operations, property oversight, patient communication and support. Her goal is to ensure coordination and communication for every patient. She loves meeting the patients who come to the clinic and assisting with their non-clinical support.

Amanda Guydon – Aesthetician

Amanda acquired her Aesthetician License in 1994. She also graduated with BA in Marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000. She has been working with The Langsdon Clinic since 2007. Over her 17 years experience in the aesthetic field, Amanda has gained an excellent understanding of the face and skin. She believes in treating patients with a tender touch and takes an individualized approach to customizing the best plan to help each person maximize their potential in skin improvement and maintenance.


Marie Wambo-R.N.

Marie joined The Langsdon Clinic in 2016. She graduated nursing school from NWCC in 2009 and started off her nursing career at Baptist Hospital in med surg where she received multiple Daisy awards. She transitioned over to cosmetic surgery in 2011. Marie is focused on providing surgery patients with individual care and a tender touch.
